Jerry and Shawns uncle often shares stories of an epic scavenger hunt through the concrete jungle, which he still claims to be the best event he attended in New York City in the 90s. Inspired by this adventure, in 2022, we decided to host a scavenger hunt in San Francisco and then again in DC. LIVEEEE FROM NEW YORK, WERE BOPPN.
On Saturday, September 21st, we are bringing the scavenger hunt back to the city that never sleeps.
You can request one or two people you know to be on your team. Some will be new friends.
Throughout the day, you will be walking, biking, partying, and laughing throughout the city while working to gather items, pictures, and videos attached to clues.
Each of these items/pictures/videos are worth a certain number of points… the harder and/or more embarrassing, the more points your team receives. Nothing will take place outside of Manhattan.
There are 500 spots available, then we will open a waitlist. Pay to get on the waitlist, and you will get a refund if you never make it off the waitlist within 48 hours of the event.
11:30 AM - On September 21st, we will all meet at Washington Square Park (WSP) at 11:30 a.m. You will gather with your pre-assigned teams (to be shared closer to the date.)
12:15 PM - After everyone is at WSP, people are fueled up, and Jerry shares some inspiring words… the FUN begins, and teams are off.
1:30-3:00 PM (Checkpoint 1) - Find Boppn and compete in a challenge.
3:30-5:00 PM (Checkpoint 2) - Find Boppn and compete in a challenge.
6:00 PM - The scavenger hunt will end at the Memory Motel (106 3rd Ave New York, NY 10003), which is rented out for the night. Here we will announce the winners plus other cash prizes won throughout the day. Cheers!
